I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year, with not too many helpings of Xmas pud’!
I would like to thank all the girls that managed to make it through all the snow and ice to come in and have their fittings and look at the dresses. We were so busy in between Christmas and New Year with everyone trying to catch up with missed appointments.
We had our belated Christmas dinner at Mr.G’s at Milsoms and as always the food was amazing even though it did seem a bit strange eating Christmas turkey and pulling crackers in January!
It’s been a tremendously busy start to the year and it’s great to see that marriage is still in fashion (maybe that has something to do with Kate and Wills!) the diary is full to bursting, we just wish more brides could make it on week days, so if you can take some time during the week it is so much quieter you have more time and space to yourself, it’s well worth the effort if you can.
We're about to start our new Prom Nights on Monday & Tuesday evenings. See our Jitters Prom Nights article for more information.
With the recession biting and more bridal shops closing it is reassuring to know that as a long standing member of the RBA, our bridal association, we can offer you free insurance on your wedding dress deposit (not that after 30 years in business we’re planning on going anywhere!). This covers you for the deposit you pay on your wedding dress free of charge and it is fantastic that the RBA have been able to arrange this for their members and gives extra peace of mind for the bride when she’s making such an important purchase and paying a deposit often far in advance of her wedding date.
