It's been a very busy few weeks of high and lows. Having just booked our flights for Barcelona to see the new 2012 Pronovias collections, to visiting London for the Pure exhibition to see the latest MOB (mother of the bride) collections for Autumn/Winter.

This week we see Nicola's close friend Sally Porter feature in Photo of the Week.

Sally's Sassi Holford wedding dress looked fantastic set alongside her turquoise theme. The groom, best men, bridesmaids, and much of the detail at the wedding, tastefully followed Sal's favourite colour.

Jeff (The groom) and the guys all had Grey Prince Edward suits by Cameron Ross, and of course the signature turquoise handkerchief in the breast pocket.

Helen Dearman's Pronovias wedding dress looked understated and elegant, complimented by a silk hand-made shrug jacket, made in store by Bryony, one of our couture seamstresses.

Helen kindly sent us a card with this lovely message inside:

Dear Christine,

Thank you so much for your kind help and advice - the dress looked so beautiful - I couldn't have been happier with it. It received so many compliments from the guests and from people who've seen the photos. It was the perfect dress!

8 Hour Road Trip

A bride from Bristol contacted me to say that she'd been let down by a her local bridal shop. Despite having ordered her dress six months ago, it hadn't arrived. With her wedding approaching fast, she had no choice but to start looking elsewhere for her dress.
