A lady came in to the shop this morning and asked if we cleaned wedding dresses and how quickly could it be done, I said it usually took about three weeks and she asked if there was any way we could do it quicker.
She then gave me the background story about her son and daughter-in-law’s wedding day. After the ceremony, the bride wasn’t feeling very well and the colour had drained from her face and sadly she wasn’t well enough to eat her wedding meal.
So, as a surprise for their first wedding anniversary, her husband has arranged for the wedding day caterers to come to their house and cook the meal that she missed out on one year ago! And he was even thoughtful enough to have her wedding dress cleaned so she can wear it again!
As we all said "he’s a keeper!"
